Reflection Exercise: Identifying Resources

 

If you've ever wished to have more time, more energy or a greater sense of wellbeing in the day, you're in the right place.

When we get into a stressed, anxious or overwhelmed state it can be really easy to get caught into emotional loops or get pulled down by challenging emotions or thoughts. In these times, it is useful to have practical strategies to help us navigate these times or bring more perspective to what’s occurring.

I recommend spending time identifying what gives you a sense of “resourcefulness”, “feeling good” or “feeling supported” in different areas of your life. I’ve included examples in the document of my own personal examples as starting points. This exercise consistently gets overwhelmingly positive feedback from people of “how practical it is” and “it made me feel really good as I didn’t think I had so many different things in my life that made me feel supported and energised
