Intentional Next Steps
Have you found that it's often much simpler to answer the question "what do you not want to do?" versus "what do you want to do next?"
You're not alone. It's one of the main reasons that people hire leadership & life coaches - to work with them to help them figure out that important answer.
Coaching is one of the most time effective and impactful ways to figure out what you do want to do next after a big life or career change. This one-size-fits-one 3 month coaching programme is specially designed for those looking for support on what’s next in their leadership, life and career.
Short circuit the time, process (and the head ache / mental gymnastics) of figuring out by yourself what you want to do next / when you "grow up" by enrolling in Intentional Next Steps: our high impact 3 month “one-size-fits-one” coaching programme of one-on-one personalised leadership & life coaching sessions and support to determine what your intentional next steps are.
Managing Certifier/Trainer at Corporate Environmental Company
“As soon as I met Jen I knew she would be the right coach for me. We had a lovely connection from our first zoom meeting. I felt valued, listened to and ‘seen’. Jen has amazing skills in working out what would best work in each session to get the best out of it for you. I love that she was willing to try out different ways of working (walking coaching calls, visualisation exercises and breathing techniques all featured in my sessions). She was great at adapting each session for what I needed at the time while also always working towards the goals we had set at our first session together. I always came out of my sessions with more energy and clarity on what my next steps could be. I was amazed at how much we covered and how much I learnt and grew over a few months. I am so grateful for the skills I have learned during these sessions and will continue to use throughout my life journey. Thanks so much Jen!”

What is the coaching process?
Coaching Session 1
Set goals with your coach in a memorable, inspiring and energetically sustainable way (so that you're actually inspired to take action on them) PLUS co-design your “self-leadership curriculum” for the 3 months.
Coaching Sessions 2-5
Expect to gain momentum via implementing customised strategies, systems, resources and activities to
(a) build your self awareness of how to consistently motivate yourself,
(b) understand the "saboteurs", patterns and habits that won't enable you to get to where you want to and
(c) learn best-practice coaching tools and methodologies so you can learn to coach yourself and set goals in the long run.
Coaching Session 6
Celebration, reflection & next steps.
My goal is that you won't "need" a coach by the end of our sessions. You'll learn a wide variety of tools, resources and next steps so that you can coach yourself and continue the momentum. We build your self-leadership and self-coaching capabilities.
At the end of 6 sessions we check in to assess what you'd best benefit from next. You are then a graduate of 'Intentional Next Steps' and can book in for ad hoc 1:1 coaching sessions at a special rate.

A senior leader described my coaching style as warm, gentle but firm - he said I make it easy to open up, be honest, see what's there and take action. (Thanks client!)

Several of my clients have approached their organisation to pay for coaching. They’ve also asked for the time to go to sessions. Not everyone is able to secure this support, nor may it be appropriate, but what’s the worst that can happen? That they say no? That they know you want some professional or personal development? Is that so bad?
If you do decide to do so, explain why you want the support – what’s the rationale and business case? For example:
Personal and professional growth: develop your ability to deal with complex, ambiguous and fast changing situations (this is also known as vertical development - increasing your capacity for complexity)
Leadership development. Even if you're not directly responsible for staff, it's about personal leadership development and much of our work is directly focused on this - e.g. building self-awareness, emotional regulation and intelligence, resilience, improving ability to understand and communicate with others
Restructuring/redundancy support - many organisations pay for employees to receive career and coaching support through transitions
External and objective support in dealing with a stressful situation, workplace issues
To seek clarity about career/life goals
To learn new tools for projects, team, responsibilities
To learn more about self, in terms of strengths and areas for development.

People who work with me appreciate that growth means being willing to reflect and do stuff that may feel uncomfortable. Small steps. They understand there's only so much you can achieve within the framework of your own thoughts and they want gentle yet challenging coaching support to help create the clarity and momentum they so seek.
Critical questions that may help you understand if coaching is right for you:
Is something in your career or life creating uncertainty and stress for you? (challenges and/or opportunities)
Have your thoughts been going in circles trying to figure it out yourself and not making progress? (Humans aren't neurobiologically wired to sort this out on our own...our brains - and we - need to externalise, verbalise, be seen.)
Do you want/need to understand more, or make some change in your life or work, or in yourself?
How important is this to you in terms of the difference it will make for you? (Very?)
Are you willing to reflect on yourself, your habits and road-blocks - and step out of your comfort zone, little by little (and with my support of course)?
Are you willing to put in the time and effort? Do you understand that this is a process? The journey takes time - to gain self-knowledge, career and life design, personal growth, and new habit formation.
So - are you ready to start?
